Composer/ Arranger
Credits for Film/TV include The Last Days of Tony Blair, Unreported World, The Private Life of a Masterpiece and The Disappearance of Alice Creed (Trailer). Dominic recently completed the score for a documentary for KEO Films (River Cottage etc) and is now Artist in residence at St Barts in Smithsfield (website here)
Dominic began his musical career composing Choral suites for the Camden based Choir Promisiste. Having performed on numerous European tours and festival bills as a session player for hip-hop and rock artists, a move into TV/Film composition work provided a natural opportunity for Dominic to make use of his broad tastes and the wide ranging experience he had gained working within such radically different genres.
Following the completion of his masters in Composition from the Birmingham Conservatoire in late 2008 Dominic began collaborating with Composer Jason Osborn on a number of documentary projects, scoring shows for broadcast on BBC2, C4 and Discovery Channel amongst others (including Unreported World (C4), The Private Life Of A Masterpiece (BBC2) The Last Days of Tony Blair (C4). Recently he has also composed music for a number of short films including The Sweethearts (DIR Steve Jamison) & Sam And Jenny Go To A Play (DIR Caz Roberts). He has also just completed a new choral suite called Vide Cor Meum that will have its world premiere performance at St Michaels Church in Camden in 2012.
Along with his MA in composition, Dominic is also a highly capable programmer, (fluent in Logic and Sibelius) and a versatile and accomplished multi instrumentalist.
